The private gym difference
The truth is, there is nothing we’ll do together in my gym that you couldn’t do for $20 a month at a regular gym (in fact, one of my goals is to create user-friendly workouts that you can take to the gym if you want).
But there are definitely some perks to the private gym environment. For starters, my space is a true judgment-free zone. I don’t care if you show up in custom Nikes or your pajamas, as long as you show up.
Also, I do pride myself on a solid Spotify playlist queued up for when you arrive. Though I have also been known to take requests.
One thing you may notice is I don’t have a ton of fancy machines in my gym. I prefer a more gentle approach to fitness that involves manual equipment and tools that use your own body weight. I find that my clients have an easier time connecting to their workout when they’re actually in control of the pace and intensity.
I’ve set my space up so that if you’ve ever walked into a traditional gym and thought I don’t belong here, you’ll feel the exact opposite when you walk into my space.
